I can only imagine what Bartolo Colon was saying to his Mets teammates at the moment this image was captured. In this day and age when every baseball player, even formerly fat guys like CC Sabathia , are all about staying in the best shape possible, at least we still have Bartolo Colon to remind us of the glories of the past. Because Utah mormons are waayyy different than mormons everywhere else. Additionally we have no family nearby for me to rely on for help or just to combat loneliness. Especially if they're devote enough to expect you to marry in heaven, huge implications with that one. Tears in my eyes after reading this. If it is already an issue in your relationship, then it'll amplify to an extreme if you get married. I thought it was beautiful that they included him in the circle, even though he was not a Priesthood holder. We have been married 2 years and have a 4 month old baby. That of course does not mean all eternal marriages should have been entered into or will succeed. I learned that you have to weigh thes things out--is it someone you care enough about to wait for. Some of the guests talked about the importance of helping hard core mormons to be open and accepting to ALL their brothers and sisters in the church, regardless of sexual orientation.
If you can, do it now. Several of the apostles have grown up in part member homes. Be open and talk about your ideals.
